volume and tempo issue

Post by jvb »

Hi all,
I owe a Pa2xpro for more than a year but due to personal circumstances I only just now are exploring the possibilities. I have a question about style recording. I am trying to edit a style but after I saved the style the tracks I edited sound to loud whilst in recording mode they are right. Same with tempo. I edit the style with tempo 120 but after saving the tempo is 92. What am I doing wrong. Thanks.

You can't save the tempo in style Record mode. You must save it in Style mode.

I think you're trying to balance the loudness using the volume slides in Style record mode. You should use expression to balance individual tracks. Then, once you're back to style mode again, use volume to balance the overall loudness of the track. Volume changes are global, but expression values can be saved for each element independently.

And after changing in style mode, do not forget to save it :)

Remember, in record mode you actually only record the blank sounds. In style mode you select the sounds you wish which will play your recording and there you also select the volume per track.

Then you save the style and you are good to go !
