Problem in mp3 recording

Post by paul »

Hi all,
I have tried to do recording in mp3 in the pa2x pro ....Upon playback, the keyboard sounds are perfect but the vocal sounds "sluggish" as if it was sung in "slow motion"

Anyone had this problem? :(

Thanks

Hi Paul

You will have to sing a bit faster  (joking)

Seriously, I have not had this problem and have used the TC Helicon a lot...
What VOCAL settings do you have on when this happens?
Does it happen every time?

Cheers

Hey Pete, I tried that, but didnt help :3drofl:

Here is what went wrong...When I played the mp3 file, it was transposed (as I had used transposed chords while recording)

SO... I went to global...general controls.....transpose control....and uncheked "transpose control applies to player 1&2" :wacky: :3dread:

Now after recording mp3 (in any transposed key) and playback, it will reset itself to "0" transpose :D

Thanks Pete

Paul -- One thought is, did you remember to re-set your transpose when you played back the recording?? If you forget after recording, it will play back reeaaalll funky.

That I did not do..but after doing the procedure above, I dont have to reset the transpose. It does it automatically.

This was a good lesson to learn.

Thanks for the input. :D
