Salam Nabil jan:

I am not sure about this site but it sure sounds good for some one to come out and make a site for Afghan musicians to buy Afghani sets. I am not sure about the quality of the sets. One thing they must do is to show short samples of intros, endings, variations, fills and if there are any pads specially for all of their Afghani sets. This way people will know what to buy and believe me, we will buy them but not for the prices they are asking.A set is a good and complete set if it has everything like most Persian,Turkish and Arabic sets. The samples posted are almost the same as those we all have. It will be nice if they could proof the quality of their sets by producing just simple short samples of all aspects of the sets. I listen to the samples and they are not bad at all. We all have sets that sound like their sets but most of us have a style that is not complete, meaning no intros, endings, only a few variations and fills. That is the basic of most of Afghani sets that I have encountered in the last 5 years. Again the afgstyles.com is not a bad idea and lets encourage them and not put them down. Take care and be in touch.

Fahim,

:D
