Finale 09....Feature Packed. incl Garritan Orchestra..

Post by ausser »

I saw a price on northernmusic for around £350.

Music scanning , playing in (or singing presumably), and Garritan Personal Orchestra - all for around £350.

Anybody and experience on the Finale09...?

I'm still using Finale98d for Music notation things, so I'm very seriously considering this.
There is a demo download - but No Garritan engine in demo - obviously - only plenty of sample mp3s on the website.

Peace
Ausser.

I just can say that I prefer Sibelius over Finale...
I find it terrible to use, but it's just my taste.
Having that saied, I haven't had the opportunity to try Finale2009 yet.
BTW it seems to have great capabilities at a great price!

I've used both sibelius and Finale over the years. Both are industry standards, and both are amazing notation softwares. You're using Finale 98???? Wow, dude, you're missing out man. Finale 2009 is a major upgrade. You can use VST instruments such as symphonic choir..etc. I love it.
