Blues tempo
Hi,
I need a song in blues mode to practice myself with blues scales on my m50. Sorry for my bad english. I mean that I need a blues tempo while I practice with blues scales.
Any suggestion?
Thanx
Mariano, Rome

Because there are several blues forms I'll have to guess the form in which you are interested.
Because tempo means that pace (beats per minute) of the song, blues cover all tempos. To pick the tempo just turn the knob on the right to whatever you want.
I'm pretty sure you are really asking about the beat of blues. Blues use several beats. A very common beat for blues, however, is founded on a 6/8 time signature. Songs like Sweet Home Chicago use this beat.
To select a 6/8 beat on your M50, pick a Combi you want to use and then:
Hit "Page Select"
Select "Arp/Drum Track" option
Select "Drum Track"
Pick a 6/8 pattern ("Suffle 117" is a good one)
I hope this is what you were looking for.

The answer to your question completely depends on what you are trying to do.
If you are trying to play a blues piano part let me suggest you try one of these (one is a Combi and the other is a Program):
Select Combi A47. On channel 6 you will see "Drums." Tap on that and change the drum kit to E62. Then hit "Page Select" and select P7 (Arp/Drum Pattern). Enter 117 to get the shuffle pattern. Set the tempo to what you want and save it.
OR
Select Program A37. Turn on the drum track (so you can hear what you are doing). Hit "Page Select" and P7 (Arp/Drum Pattern). Select "Drum Trk Program" and change the program to a drum sound you like (I like E62). This Program already has a 6/8 drum beat. So you might be good to go.
If you like you can change the drum beat to Shuffle 117 by selecting the Drum Pattern tab. Hit 1 1 7 and then "Enter."
Once you like what you hear, be sure to save it.
If this isn't what you are looking for. Let me know.

Glad you like it Mariano.
I'll look for an arp and let you know. Using the sequencer and looping 12 bars would do the trick for practice purposes. If you just want to practice leads, download the Blues Brothers vesion of Sweet Home Chicago and play along. It's over seven minutes long and has lots of leads full of a great variety of ideas.
I'd strongly recommend, however, that you use your left hand. It's not really as hard as it appears, sounds great, and after you get the muscle memory working, you can play what you've learned on any keyboard anywhere. More important, it's fun!
Below is something to start with (of course start slowly and build up speed with practice). I'll us the key of E in case you want to play along with the Blues Brothers. When it says B/E it means play an E and an B at the same time with the E on the bottom. I'll use an "|" between each measure (bar). Play each pair of notes on the beats (later on you can swing it). Play this with your left hand:
B/E C#/E B/E C#/E | E/A F#/A E/A F#/A |
B/E C#/E B/E C#/E | B/E C#/E B/E C#/E |
E/A F#/A E/A F#/A | E/A F#/A E/A F#/A |
B/E C#/E B/E C#/E | B/E C#/E B/E C#/E |
F#/B G#/B F#/B G#/B |E/A F#/A E/A F#/A |
B/E C#/E B/D C#/E | A A# B |
Repeat & enjoy!
