Why KORG chose 80 or 800?

Hi...I have a question, maybe a silly one :)

When PA80 came out, why did KORG chose for the arranger's name to have the number 80? Does it mean anything?

The 800 is actually 80.0 and the 2x stands for twenty something % unfinished! :lol:

By the WAY, does anybody in the USA want to buy a PA800???

hitman, I would be scared to buy a PA800 from you. I would be scared that as soon as I give you the money you would shoot me in the back :D hahaha
