Missing Something??
Am I missing part of the manual? For Instance: On page 27 I was wondering about changing programs with a footswitch, you know be nice to click through a set of programs live, so it says see pg228. Midi program change messages Pg 218,220 and 392 ! My manual only goes to 113 and thats the back cover!! The on-line manual is the same as the printed. Anyone figure this out? or at least tell me how to use a footswitch to change programs?
Thanks, and I can't wait to hear some great pads for the M50, I'm still using my Triton for those! Love this forum!! db

Nowadays everybody can access to the internet so they are not giving printed manuals... at least I think that is the reason. Also many manufacturers are not giving any software CD:s with the product and just tell you to download it. Well of course this has advantages because it protects nature and all that and costs not that much when they use less paper and other stuff...

In the PDF, page numbers within the same guide are also linked. Say you're in the parameter guide on one of the pages talking about MIDI controls for a combi. You're reading about SW1 and SW2 and want to see what you can assign to them. When the guide says to see some other page, you can click the page number and end up on that page, just like navigating a website.
Korg probably stopped printing the parameter guide since it's not as useful to the average person as the owner's manual; you can still print it off at your discretion, but it keeps Korg's costs slightly lower and is better for the environment.

Because I don't want to be saddled to the computer to program my freakin keyboard THAT's why!FifthElement wrote:Just use the electronic version on your PC. Why create a "dead tree" version?
You seem to have missed the whole point of manufacturers providing documentation only in electronic form.
The whole "Point" of providing documentation in "electronic form" is to save money. Let's get real! The environment card is a convenient PR bonus.
