Arpeggiator - Numeric Pad relationship.

Post by John_J »

Hi, guys! I'm working on the M50s arpeggiator.

I know that I can choose a sub division of notes, crochets, semi-quavers, etc.
And each beat in a bar has 12 steps (vertical aligned) which correspond to the buttons on the numeric keypad which switch them on/off.

My question is, what are these 12 steps?
Are they the degress of the scale?
Just got my M50!!! :-D

They can be either fixed Notes, or will reflect the order in which keys are played, depending on how you set it up!

Fixed notes I would assume means they will play (Example: A, C#, E) no matter what notes/keys your playing.. Which, I didn't realize you could do.

I'm digging into that in a few hours... I need to do that for a live play copy tune..

Very cool! THANKS for the heads up!
