With respect, no one is denying the problem exists or diminishing the impact of the problem.

We are all concerned about the approach of a certain few people in how they present this to Korg. Why can't we all be professional and reasonable in presenting the issue to Korg and letting them respond and address the issue in a civil and constructive manner?

Bashing products and companies over a reported issue will not get you anywhere other than illustrate deficiencies in your own character.

Sharp I'm sorry to say but your ban of BasariStudio was uncalled for and most importantly you need to read the posts first before you ban someone. At this rate you will lose the whole forum because its been BasariStudios who has been the biggest help to use ethnic users. He had made a request to give the guy a warning after so many personal attacks have been made on him.

Lets admit it a forum is not a forum unless we can have someone who has knowlodge about a product to guide us and you just banned the one person who did all the testing for this POS keyboard with all the bugs. Even though he was trying to calm everyone down you banned him. I don't know the guy and I have never spoken two words to him but Nedim had the most helpful threads and get around bug problems. If he does not return you might as well lose about half of the guys on this forum. Forums are dime a dozen and it does not take long to get one up and running.

If Nedim does not return you will not see me..and I expect anyone who think this was uncalled ban to be vocal and unban him.

I remember similar situation in Nuendo Forum few years back when we lost great member and we lost half the guys with it. Then they had to upgrade to complete new forum and delete all posts regarding to that member. Good luck if you want to have similar action.

As for my self I have already spoken against the bugs on OS 2 and if its not resolved I don't need to get my frustration out through anyone here but I am fully capable of dealing with it on mighy Google. I hope you reconsider this ban on Nedim.

for goodness sake. Its just a week !! please be reasonable. Nedim needs some time out and when he comes back his knowledge of the PA2X OS 2 will be better because he wont be wasting his time dealing with negative people for a week.

Its not about the time of ban but rather the degrading of a member who has been so helpful to all of us. Its unfair ban for someone who was defending him self from someoen else. He had requested to have this guy off his back few posts I can remember.

Keep in mind Nedim is not just another member but rather connected and fully knowlodgeable guy on the product. He found a get around within a day on OS 2 mess up. Yet we reward him by banning him? Come on thats degrading and I assure you that if it takes the full week and were not vocal to bring him back his pride wont. I think if you guys value someone like Nedim to be part of this forum then he deserves the benefit of the doubt in every way as he has done nothing but solve peoples problem. Hell, Nedim and Rob are the forum...but then again thats just my opnion. I for one am on Nedim's side on what happened and you can see the personal attacks many times.

Unless this is a way to get rid of all the international users because of korgs inability to deal with international users then its something else.

Type +1 If you want Nedim Unbanned and back.
Type -1 if you don't think he has no value and should not be returned.

Please don't try to be smart by typing anything else just plus one or minue one will do. I hope those who got support and have been helped by his posts will do the right thing.

Hi A.K

I have no intentions of disrespecting Nedim by explaining to you on the open forum why he got the 1 week ban. You are in no position to even question me to he honest when you simple don't have knowledge of what happened and to the extent things went.

All I can ask you to do is trust me that the right decision has been made based on the the information I have.

Regards.
Sharp.

Alright well he might not return after one week. Thanks to whoever we lost a great member. I read most of the posts and responded to what I saw and from what I saw was he got attacked on personal level. I just think they guy carried his own weight along weight of half the forum.

See you when Nedim returns, thats if he returns.

Good luck with the forum.

 Yeah why not paint a target on him and make it more difficult to come back.
The decision has been made and that's that. Sorry but there's no going back on this and if you force me to start explaing myself, you will do him no good.

Regards.

Folks:

Please, please, please, just calm down.

I know what it is like when emotion is involved, and your personal sounds/music/performances are affected by something, but some of you are speaking in absolutes when there are many shades in-between. It is never that way in life or technology. Something can't be amazing, or terrible with no understanding of all the possibilities between those two extremes.

Nedim was very helpful in finding a serious bug, and then Korg Italy found and suggested the work-around, so we are working together - both sides are contributing to the situation. And we will fix it and release a new OS very shortly. It just makes sense to both test it a bit, and to see if there are any other small issues/fixes that might be rolled into it.

I suggest that everyone tries to calm down and give it a few days - the level of emotion and antagonism is running way too high here. People should calmly express themselves, and not attack each other.

See a somewhat inflammatory sentence/post? Let it pass/rest. And everyone should trust that posts are being seen/read and they don't need to SHOUT to get attention.

Please try to consider all this and return to a more peaceful co-existence with each other.

Regards,

Jerry

Sharp,
I trust your judgement.

Sometime even the best of us can get emotional and loose some control. There are a lot of personalities here.

I personally welcome Nedim back, and hope he returns.

He owes me a Margaritta!

I certainly have nothing against Nikola and respect his obvious knowledge. But it was Nedim who first reported this issue to us, and Paolo contacted him privately as soon as we found the problem and suggested the work-around, which Nedim then shared with everyone. But he also chose to delete his earlier posts/thread so there is no longer the proper "trail" to see what happened.

Anyway - it's "all good" - everyone who helps and contributes should be recognized and are appreciated. I just am sorry to see the emotional/negative events of the last few days disrupt things and affect people so much.

I certainly will welcome Nedim back and hope he doesn't choose to stay away. He does a lot for Korg users and Korg.

Regards,

Jerry

Come on guys chill.

Nedim is a great guy sometimes a little bit emotional.

Here is my opinion

Fact is that he is the pioneer here trying things and reporting which also cost him a lot of time. What i donn't get from korg is why there is no direct communication with these guys before they released. I think it would be better, Nedim mentioned to select him as an usertester.
Also i hope that korg knows that the workaround is a workaround and not something to life with. Each time i want to try the old styles i am not going to load the old OS and save the userdk's.
Wish you guys a lot of musichours with the new OS

+1 Take my advice

Post by robkeith »

Thanks Jerry for your re assuring lines here on the forum. I did not want to post yet as I was taking my own advice to do the research first before commenting on the negative and positive outcomes from OS2, some others need to do the same thing.

If Korg are working on a fix, then give them time to do it without further abuse etc emotion, after all its been months in the making till now for OS2, what is a couple of weeks more??

Please Korg Italy get it right, and I'l join Nedim i'm sure back on the forums when we get some more accomplished
Making music is a passion, not a choice of lifestyle

WoW!!! It is only a Keyboard!!
This forum is very important to me, as a Korg user!! Where else can I get info on my beloved PA2xpro!!
Everyone MUST have respect and respond as adults no matter what!!
I know how emotional we can all get at times but "Bad" language (even if you put ---- in we know what your saying) is unacceptable!! Those like Nedim put alot of time and effort in giving as very valuable information!!

Please! Please! Lets make this work! Without this very valuable venue it would make it almost pointless to own a KORG PA2XPRO!!!
:D :D :D :D :D
