How to lower the volume of a user sounds?
I imported a few sounds from a set. I liked a few string sounds, but they're very loud compared to the factory sounds. I'd say about twice as loud! I'm in the sound mode right now, and tweaked lots of things that i guessed they might have something to do with the loudness, but nothing works. I would like to save that sound with a loudness close to the factory sounds at the same level. Please help!!!

Click Menu in Sound Mode and go to AMP parameters, on the first Page you
have the Volume, thats where you fix it, then save.

Nedim , I also had this problem few weeks ago. I just didn't understand why the person who programmed the sound, went overboard on the volume. How do you handle this in your own sets? Do you match the level of your styles and sounds with the factory ones?BasariStudios wrote:Click Menu in Sound Mode and go to AMP parameters, on the first Page you

That's weird. I go to the sound mode....Menu...and then Amp. On the first page, "amp level" is set to 100. I changed it , but as I audition the sound, nothing happens. Not even a little change in volume. I went to the effect page later on, and the box for "send to master" is checked. When i uncheck the box, it considerably drops . Obviously, the sound is going through an effect but still there should be a way to lower the volume right?BasariStudios wrote:Click Menu in Sound Mode and go to AMP parameters, on the first Page you

Tania,
You will need to change it for all Oscillators - check how many Osc are being used and change them by the same % amount for each. (Eg if one is at 100 and one at 80 then to maintain the correct balance and you want to drop by 30% then change the 100 to 77 (100/1.3) and the 80 to 62 (80/1.3). and so on. If they are all at 100 then its easier.
Regards,
John

yeah, i'm pretty sure that was the reason why you couldn't hear the changes. because you were only messing with Osc 1, and the other 3 were still untouched.TANIA wrote:Cool! Looks like it uses 4 of them. Thanks for the tip.Reuben wrote:Tania,
