here is a song that shows the lovely trancey arps, as well as the deep synth pads available... the pad in the middle bridge section is one program with all four timbres giving a great over all synth sound. Radias is the most underrated synth on the market i believe.
Radias is definitely one of leading synths on the market, for me. (and is indeed underrated, IMHO)
I've been toying with Virus B for a while, but no matter what I do - I just can't let it sound the way I want. I don't think that I would be happy with Virus Ti.
It looks just awesome... for visual effect, it would be cool that there would be "LED Halo intensity" in virtual patch destinations - just to let it glow when for example you change filter value, and the sound becomes more aggressive - would be absolutely awesome... I like pretty stuff...
Arpegiator, step seq and other stuff is what makes it so great - very intuitive and fun. Easy enough for a beginner - sophisticated enough for any pro.
It's maybe not as powerful as Virus - but it's 10 times more easy/fun to program and is powerful enough, for anything. Not to mention that it's almost 2 times cheaper.
Awesome tracks btw - Radias at it's best.
My gear: Roland Fantom x8 - Korg Radias - Access Virus b - Roland Jp-8000 - Moog da Rogue
I really like all of your tracks. I have a couple thoughts which you might want to explore. Individually all the tracks have a lot of interesting arps and I like the vocals and flow. Taken together they might sound too alike each other. On this newest track, it would be great to see the guitar not only used as a nice rhythm fill but also as a hot solo lead for a break near the end. You also might think of adding a wider melodic range for the vocals. You've got an excellent sound and you've put a lot of effort to produce a polished set of tracks, so I hope you don't take my comments as negative in any way. My thoughts are more about taking it up a notch to look at producing an album where every track shows something unique and special, yet still within a cohesive style, kind of like a gallery of paintings by the same master artist.
hey mr xml guy, i have to say a big thankyou . your words of advice have not fallen on deaf ears. i really appreciate it, because it has opened my mind a lot, what you have suggested. you are very right in what you say and when i get back to the studio i will look at these ideas.
