PA80 flash card question

Post by sazistas »

Hello!
From a research I have done in the internet, I found that the flash cards pa80 accepts are stadart PCMCIA cards. So, I tried to use my pcmcia to compact flash adater into my pa80. I put a 512 compact flash card into the pcmcia card reader and then put it in the PA80. But PA80 didnt recognise it!! Does anyone know if this happened because of the size of the card (512mb)? if I buy a 8 / 16mb compact flash will be able to read ? or original korg's flash cards have some locks and they are the only cards PA80 can read ?
thanks!

As I see no one has an opinion about my question. So I ordered a 16mb compact flash card to see myself if it works or not. I'll get back with the results 8)

The only cards supported are the ones from Korg.

Unfortunately the standard PCMIA cards will not work, as far as I know the only card that works is the 8mb card from Korg
