Kaossilator CarryCase

Post by TrondC »

there should be a dedicated carry case for the kaossilator right, given it's portable nature?
I sure won't risk breaking it by carrying it around in my pockets, and even the microkorg got it's own carry case..
I've emailed korg, and they say there are no plans to make a carry case, so I thought i'd ask the community here, how do you protect your kaossilator when you bring it around?

DUCT TAPE ! i made a duct tape pouch out of the bubble wrap the kaossilator came in. works great with a rubber band around the flap opening AND it looks very unassuming making it an unlikely target for theft. protection with funk!

The cheaper it looks the smaller chance is that some one will steal it.
No one will take a pile of duct tape, unless it's a janitor..
But avoid a fanny pack.. There is no respect given for fanny packs.

Or the higher likelihood that someone will just throw it out!

I had ordered a Korg carry bag and it was a total piece of trash... I ending up grabbing an old laptop bag for my KP2 and it works great. There are extra compartments for cables, power supplies, etc. Nicely padded too.

carry case

yeah, laptop bags are great for korg stuff(emx, esx especially, and kaoss pads) but they would be too big for a kaossilator.

look what this guy uses:

usually my left coat pocket for the mini kp and the right one for the Ko1(with a short rca/rca cable in it too)

i got a carry case, you know those laptop accesories pack with roll in network and phone cable, mini mouse, mini hub and a light? I removed the foam moldings of the crap that was in it and it fits the ko1 and mini kp perfectly (ust enough space to stick batteries in it)

I made a custom leather pouch by cutting 2 pieces of leather then doing a yellow stiching on 3 sides left 1 side open.

hm, can't seem to find this item anywhere else than directly from korg USA, which I can register to as there is no other option than "United States" in the "countries" checkbox that must be filled out.. does anyone know of another dealer?
