Electribe MX songmode question...

Post by Yornav »

HI

Does anyone have an idea of how to record real time in song mode BETWEEN for example measure 5 to 9????

Maybe I am doing something wrong... :?: but It doesn't seems to me I can program the fact that he should LOOP some measures...???

some one know??? :?

I have many problems on the EMX... maybe it are LIMITATIONS???

Mayby this is a real LIMIT problem... The drum parts can not be put on a filter... Sow I need an KAOS pad... Ok, sow I have to buy a Kaoss... Everybody knows upcoming drums with a low pass filter... But if I want my synth part to play synths without affecting them to the filter... It's never ever possible... I have to buy a 2nd mx for playing synth parts there???

What the fu** can you do with 3 effects??? Ok I will deal with it... Because I buy an SX to play samples I made on my computer...
If I had to go with the 3effects that are posible I always would use a compressor, reverb and delay... Because If you use the Electribes for life playing... It wil have to be mastert in some kind of way... all effect used up...

If you cannot program a loop in song mode(wich was actually prop1) :) ... All the electribes are worthless... Think about it... Whitout that feature you cannot record your song!!! If you would make One fault you should over do it from the beginning!!! This would be a great limitation and very sad too because it would make songmode of the sequencer useless...

The elictribes are a good idea... but actually not!!!

EMX: why combinning drumcomputer with synth (even only mono synth)??? The mono synth ok... you can do some stuff with it... But here's the question... What If I need more parts??? I have to buy Another one??? Mayby I should... but what would I do with the little library of the EMX... I would buy two... FOR MORE SYNTH PARTS??? And I would Pay money for... DRUMS I don't like??? Hmm...

ESX: more interesting!!! A drum machine where I can put my own sounds in... But still no LO FI filtler fot all parts...

Summary...

Korg... Keep making ESX! Stop making EMX and try making a new Electribe bassliner or something... just give us a drummachine and a monosynthmachine appart from eachother... so If someone want more synth parts or drumparts they just buy what they really need!!!

Whatever... someone an idea... about my songmoed LOOP problem???

 I think u miss the point on the tribes n also i think u may be a little inpatient and lacking creativity . Hav a good look at ur MX , look at the fx chain work out how chaining works . Look at ur osc' dial , learn haow they all work .... then tell me they are a waste of time .

They never set out to make a synth /supercomputer ... they are an advancement of previous tribes' and are very capable if u know how .

If u want to filter ur drums , try setting osc' dial to "pcm+ws/comb" and find the drum parts .... filter n MUCH more til ur hearts content.

apart from that , use it or lose it ... just dont doubt it really , your the contoller

amen don't come onto this forum and diss this box untill you know how to fookin use it. You obviously have no music experience nor synthesis experience. If you think it's a limited box go listen to some music people make with it and then say it again.

I refuse to help you because of your attitude. All I'm gonna say is figure it out or get rid of it.

If you dont' want it, I'll buy it from you.

electribes are GROOVEBOXES not PRODUCTION WORKSTATIONS..... it's ment for instant out of the box playabillity.... you're not using it right because you can't read....
