PA2X Freeze!

Hi KF!
My pa2X freeze 4 times to nigth!
In sample Import mode, I imported samples, maded on Pa1X Workin whit out any problem, but in pa2x when i delete a multi sample, after i push on import again ,it,s freeze!
I dont now what to do.
So KORG please hury up!
We realy need the OS Update!
Please help us!

Man.. I'm getting mine tommorow, and I'm losing my pa1x pro. Now I'm afraid.

Hi Stiky, this is so dam stupid, WHY?
I, did not sleep anything, Couse i wanna use this 6 sounds on my set!
I realy hope KORG can make this work, otherwise this can be wery hard to just ignore!

My advice to anyone with Pa2x is not to use or load USER SAMPLES until Korg post a reply about what is happening.

If you have Loaded USER SAMPLES, and your Pa2x has locked up, then you can try reloading the system files that came on the CD.

Obviously I'm concerned about this because I wanted to change my Pa1x Pro for a Pa2x at some point in the future. But for now, I will keep my Pa1x which seems to be extremely stable and reliable.

I got mine yesterday, I loaded set from my PA800, everything went fine, but today i experienced FREEZING 2 times!
I was playing song from songbook, selected another song to play, and screen froze on me,. i was able to play selected song, but screen didn't respond at ALL! restarted synth, ather that it was ok for half of the day , then 2 hour ago same problem, but with diff song!

I need explanation and FIX soon or i am going to be returning my pa2x, i cant afford this to happened to me on a gig!

I need fix now! $4500 keyboard froze 2nd day..... Unavailable!!

my pa2x freeze about 2-3 times in 1 week, but I think because I move very fast from display without wait same working finish.
I have loaded pcm from pa1x without problem.
try this: reiinstall full software of pa2x
and load the samples, not loading the set !
simple load the sound you need (for example I have loaded user sound 1 that is my best piano ) and pa2x auto load the pcm that need
and of course do the same for every sounds
Mybe I'm luky because I dedided to load a set with many and many samples without problem, but loading only set with sounds, remove global end other not need

Do you think its the actual processor -as on a computer-the keyboard is so advanced the processor is too slow to handle information its given

my old computer used to freeze until I upgraded the processor to a better more faster chip to handle more infomation never froze again

The frustrating thing is that we have no idea why this is happening. Is it software problem? Or hardware?
I wish Korg would shed some light here.

Korg sent PM's to several individuals saying that they are investigating these faults and will post on the forum when they have diagnosed the problem. You could send a PM to tramannoni but I expect he is very busy already progressing a solution.

Well.. i just got my PA2X Pro. I havent opened the box yet.
I'm totally confused if I should load samples or not.

Hi,

Korg have diagnosed the sample RAM hardware problem. Apparently, it only applies in the case of the Pa800. There is info on www.korgpa.com under the Pa800 section, faq's. So in the case of the Pa2x there should be no problems. Go on, open the box

Pleas KORG.. do something to fix this bugs fast so I can buy my PA2X !!! this is importent prob for us and should be fixed long time ago.. dont you have anyone that test drive this machine before sale.. ok its normal that there is some bugs.. but come on.. you have been in this branch for so long and still same bugs you recently came out whit the pa800 dont you learn from the misstakes from its bugs.. please fix this as fast as possible!! thanks and respect to you guys.. just a little frustration here

So far, my pa2x pro is ok. I loaded sounds from other sets, took over 70Mb of sampling memory, did not freeze. But I did not try to import multisamples in sampling mode. I heard that's where the problem is.

Sry but, Import samples are not maded for This OS on PA2X.
So, the big mis here is that KORG shud tell us, That the KB is not ready yet, Just go back for a while, No one belived that PA2X was coming out for real, No info from KORG, Just from a site (FRENCH) Or something, And later, we just

And after that i heard 256 MB of ram, I decided to buy a PA2X

Al fine,
now after a bunch of Bug reports, and freeze problems, I think its time to go over and return it back!
So guys, who is asking us on stage if the sound we are playing whit is 78 MB Piano?
We are musicians not KB builders or we are definitly not KORG Tester,s So if we ware that, than KORG is a big company, OR? They shud PAY us for that!
Couse, We are paying for a product , dont we?
It,s not free, We pay, they dont give it for nothing, I realy wanna go to evry Messe now and just tell them how bad this Product are!
I dunno, i,m just angry couse To nigth i played for 250 persons here and 2 Times i must restart the Unit!MITLE OF A DANCE, SONGBOOK!!!
The people asked me if i,m a Pro!LOL
I sad inside me, no i,m not couse the pro people dont buy CRAP!
I think i,m realy angry, this is like playing whit us, The customers!

If this unit is not ready for marketting, than give me 2 of this KB, s and wait 3 more months, and let me tel you guys over there whats wrong and whats wrigth!

it,s the same thing for KORG, It,s up to them for delivring a unit that WORKS, and makes that things they promissed, it must work for 4500 dollars,
And this time i dont care if my English are god or bad, Its better than the OS on the PA2X anyway!You get pissed to dont you!???
