Using hardware synths with electribe sx

Post by akk1975 »

Hi. I dont know how to play my hardware synths with electribe and record the note movements (midi) to electribes sequencer. So the electribe would play all my synths in different midi channels. I am able to set them in electribes keyboard parts, but I can then record only two synths and I lose sx:s own synths. It can be so that I can only use two synths in my song! Can anyone explain!! Manual doesn´t help. Please.

As far as I know, the only sequencer channels available in the Electribe are those used for the internal synth engines, so if you want to trigger an external synth using the electribe, you will lose that sound source, or you can use the sound source and the external synth at the same time, playing the same thing.

The electribes don't have additional MIDI channels available in it's sequencer (though it would be very cool if it did).
