Korg PadKontrol

I think Iv read on here that someone has connected the PadKontrol to their EMX????? any tips on how to do this?

Connect the midi out from the padkontrol to the midi in on the EMX. On the padkontrol you need to ensure that pads are set for the right midi channel. I don't have my padkontrol with me now but you should be able to find it in the manual. Drums are channel 10, synth parts 1-5 are midi channels 1-5 respectively. You can set the pads to trigger notes or to trigger other cc messages (like fx send on/off...)

Also you need to have the padkontrol powered by the ac adpater, not by usb, it won't work that way.

Its cool to set up the x-y pad on the padkontrol to specific cc messages that can affect the EMX.
