Pro-Sounds LD-50 soundset for LAC-1

With a small amount of help from yours truly, sound developer Pro-Sounds now offers their LD-50 soundset for the OASYS LAC-1, as well as the software Legacy plug-ins. Here's their press release:

Well for $25 you couldn't not get them right?
If you like "Ye Olde Analog", and I do, you may like them.

Pros:
The price
A few good sounds
FX Used sparingly

Cons:
No use of Karma or controllers that I could find

Extremely fast - that took you just one hour! I'm impressed, especially since where I live, you were reviewing before 7 a.m.

When you say "no use of controllers", I presume that there is at least pitch-bend on the joystick, and some simple mod on Joy+Y ?

Any more considered opinions after a few days, Derm? I must admit, it would take me considerably more than an hour to properly evaluate over 200 patches. But the price is good.

These assignments were carried over from the Legacy software, and IIRC at least some did have pitch-bend on the joystick and modulation on JS+Y.

All of the Programs also have their Control Surfaces set to Tone Adjust, which gives fairly comprehensive editing & modulation with the LAC-1 synths.

Hi JG,
There are no Karma settings, no use of SW 1 or 2, no use of the ribbon controller. I am pretty sure that there is no use of the Joy stick, but maybe I missed something. All of this makes sense if they were ported from the Legacy software as Dan says.
I think they might have spent sometime assigning controllers and charged a little more.
Anyway with the strenght of the euro against the dollar at the moment the price is negligable, I reckoned there was nothing to loose picking them up.
Some good stuff here if analog is your thing.

Pitch bend and JS +Y are active for most sounds. I've only come across a few sounds which don't use JS +Y at all. The effect may sometimes be subtle...
