Do paying members get some sort of symbol against thier vartar
No.. Some people would rather stay anonymous.
There’s also the possibility that it would make people uncomfortable.

Kind Regards.
Sharp.

No more donations please.

Hi all.

Thanks a million for your support. It’s with great pleasure that I can say that the donate button is just about to disappear. You have ensured the future of this community for a guaranteed 5 + Years and given us the opportunity to buy whatever php applications we many need as this website grows.

The total currently stands at 1378.36 Euro

Kind Regards.
Sharp.

I'm very happy to hear that Sharp but I'm feeling very bad because I wasn't able to donate due to the stupid fact of Egypt not being part of paypal and because I tried to figure out what is Snailmail or whatever that is. I wanted to know if there was any other way to send you the money but no one answered me. Not to blame anyone but I just feel bad I didn't contribute. I've been so busy in the Pa1x thing and wanted to take part in the forum donation too along with the Pa1x but I didn't know what else to do :(

Can someone pleeeeeeeeeease clarify me what snailmail is, at least for later purposes? I have a credit card and I can transfer money but I am in Egypt and it is not listed in Paypal so no way of using that. What else can I do???????

Hi Carol
Snail Mail is when you send a 'Letter' it is very slow like a snail - it takes a very long time to get to its destination.

That's it, snail mail here means you simply send a check or money order to whatever address Sharp posted. It's just slang for the postal service.

Hey, Sharp,

I think you ought to leave the link up a bit longer. I haven't been able to contribute yet, but still want to do so. I mean, I guess it's up to you, but I'd still like to pitch in a bit if I could. I just can't quite do it this very minute.

Thank you guys for the explanation... That starts to make some sense to me :D

I wish I knew that earlier but that's ok. Next time, I'd know what to do then...

Cheers!

hey Sharp and Daz, I think donation button should stay alive all the time on IA, I know you would like to make IA a free service, but a donation isn't a fee or a tax, it's just a donation. I think that people who would like to send you some money as appreciation for your work should be able to show this.
