I can't see how you can get it fixed for free. I have called Korg service department after being given the number via email and I have to pay for the labour charge ( £20 ) the cost of the fuse ( up to £5 ) and obviously postage and packaging to and from the service dept. I had to register when I saw this thread. Ok, this is worrying because the EXACT same thing has happened to my EMX1. It 'went' pretty much just after the warranty ran out. I bought my EMX1 brand new from a music store in the UK, never gigged/dropped/spilt on etc, nothing. It was just sitting there ...
