Jürgen, why is PCM autoload on the Pa2x slower than the manual load process?

sorry, that is KORGs secret, I really don't know!

@ dragoncaz but if 256MB last about 9 Minutes in "seperate loading", this is very much shorter than everyone expects! by the way: 256MB is really a lot! @ thomas they only tested the PA2Xpro, I think ist the half time for PA800, but I will check it out if 9 Drawbars will be possible, I can't say. So ...

in this moment I got news from KORG Germany:

PA2Xpro:

loading 128MB WITH PCM AUTOLOAD lasts 400sec (6:40)

loading 128MB seperately (after booting) lasts 280 sec (4:40)

Hi all together, here are my newest experiences: in this moment I have 23MB PCM Data to load in my PA2Xpro. - the booting WITHOUT PCM lasts about 68 seconds - the booting WITH 23MB of PCM lasts about 80 seconds that means: 12 seconds for 23MB! if I'm calculating right, this gives about 67 seconds ...

...by the way:

try to boot WITHOUT PCM-Autoload,
after booting load the PCMs seperately!!!

it should be faster, the company said!
