Thanks again Nemik!

This one looks a lot more complicated - I'll need to up my understanding to get at the sfx sets etc.

Does the Korg PA Manager make this task much easier?

Thanks,
Roger

Check if this sample will show in DK set.? If you create only sample, is good only for DK sets, for sounds you need multisample, which you have to create using sample/s. There you can use one or more samples, you just need to tell program original note of sample. Also remember multisample use mono ...

How to create a sound using a single sample and play on PA2x

Hi, I'm struggling with what should be a simple task. I have a sample as a .wav with which I want to create a sound where the sample plays chromatically across the keyboard. So I loaded the sample into the sample editor where is can be seen and heard. I converted it to a .pcm file using wavelab, and ...

Korg PA300 Track Controls?

hi,
Could anyone who has a Pa300 please check if there is a track controls tab (that enables selection of external or internal MIDI, and mono or poly) in the menu when in song play mode?

Thanks,
Roger

Original MS2000 XLR Mod?

Hi,

Has anyone successfully fitted an XLR socket to the top of an original MS2000 so it's like the MS2000B?

Thanks,
Roger

Hi Thoraldus, I raised a case with Korg Support yesterday, and they provided a fix! :D Your suggestion about hidden com ports was so close - the maximum number of devices limitation also applies to wave and MIDI devices. The 'Advanced Fix' part of the below link shows the fix: http://www.cakewalk ...

Thanks for that. I followed the steps in the article and can only see com1 and lpt1 under ports. The installation steps I took were: run installer as administrator next agree next next typical finish connect Pa2x run configure Korg USB MIDI Device as administrator Install Everything in the Korg USB ...

I found the latest 1.14r9 version on the Korg USA website - that doesn't work. I also tried 1.11 and 1.12 which were also on there - they don't work. every time I did the following: 1) uninstalled the midi driver with the Korg utility (which was aware that the Pa2x was plugged in as it made me ...

Have you tried using the latest midi driver for the PA2X from Korg ... http://www.korgpa.com/images/stories/sw/computer/Win%20-%20KORG%20USB-MIDI%20Driver%20v.1.13.exe.zip Thanks, but that link doesn't work here. Besides it's the current 1.14 version that's not working. However, if you have any ...

This is still not working. The Korg PA2x shows up in Device Manager using the following drivers: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\KORGUMDS.SYS version 1.7.0.1 C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\KORGUMDC.CPL version 1.0.0.2 C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\KORGUMDD.DRV version 1.14.0.4 and the device shows in the 'Configure Korg USB ...

You only need to go to the track controls and change Upper1 to "external". After that you see only program change numbers on the main screen where the voice name was. You only have to touch on upper1, enter the program change and save the STS or Performance. Thank you!!! That works great. I just ...

Each PA2XPro SOUND has its unique "program number" (per MIDI data info in the manual). I do not know any way in which you can change this. What exactly are you wanting to do? Cheers Pete :D Hi Pete, I'm using the PA2x pro to provide live backing using Songbook entries comprising MP3s and Single ...

PA2x Program Change Transmit to External Synth

Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to configure which program change number a user patch transmits, or is this hard coded to the internal patch number?

Thanks,
Roger

Good Source of Waveforms for PA2X?

Hi, I need some basic pseudo analogue sounds for the PA2X. There's a few single oscillator saw, pulse, square etc. samples in the ROM, but the only way I found to fatten this up was to copy the oscillator and detune - resulting in a horrible phase synced unison sound, rather than what you'd get with ...
