Just bought, can’t wait to try it out. I remember you from the EX5 days. I may have to pull mine out of storage . Though I’ve changed emails a few times since purchasing ex.factory, so my license is in the wind .

The flash is actually Logic's error condition. Maybe your keyboard is being detected as a control surface. Are you using a midi control surface as well? You might try trashing your control surface prefs

Thanks Ed! I can't wait. PCG tools is now really the only reason I have to fire up windows anymore. I'm anxious to have a mac-only workflow.

If you don't want to disable Gatekeeper, you can right-click on the installer, and choose Open, then click Open in the next window. This way you can keep the security in tact, and allow other apps as needed.

The upgrade price used to be more than this full price. Digital Performer's upgrade cost is $195. Don't get hung up on the full version/upgrade name. It's a great deal, and has lots of new features. I'm loving it!

FYI, the new version of Logic was released today, and it is 64 bit only - no more 32 bit audio bridge. So, the Kronos AU plugin, which is 32 bit, won't work any more inside Logic.

In Logic, you would actually have to ignore all the errors, launch AU Manager, and disable the V1 Plugin in order to not have the error messages on launch. It's easier to remove the old component. Then Logic will stop trying to load the plugin and throw an error.

The AU plugin is located in /Library/Audio/Pug-ins/Components/ The current plugin will be named Korg Kronos v2.component . If you have another Korg Kronos component in there, delete that one.

Well, that is actually a generic error message saying that the plugin cannot load because it cannot detect a kronos. I would make sure you have the latest USB driver from Korg. I get the same error message when I start logic without the Kronos connected. The reason it is specifying 1.6, is that is ...

That message is telling you that the computer cannot detect the Kronos. Do you have the Kronos connected via USB and powered on? If so, I would check the connections, and Check in System Profiler(or System Report if you have Lion or Mountain Lion) to make sure the computer is seeing the usb ...

If you are loading the sounds using a flash drive, you may see 2 instances of the file - one will have an dot underscore to start, this one is a DS_Store file, which is just metadata. Scroll down, and there will be another version of the file which ...

Though I've never used it, Translater Pro is OS X compatible, and works with EXS-24 formats.
