I've installed the M1 Legacy software and going through all the options. I've noticed that you can select and rename instrument sounds. Like 'Universe' into 'Galaxy' if I wanted to. I was wondering if renaming sounds is permanent? Or that it will revert into its default state every time I re-open ...

I'd like to know that too. Before I buy it. As I intend to buy it to use in Garageband and I've got Mavericks with the latests Garageband 10. Can't contact Support as they only respond when the software is bought and registered.
