I'm in Mesa. Been performing with my Kronos since 2015. My band performs in Tucson from time to time. We're at the Desert Diamond Casino showroom on 12/14 and in Oro Valley at the Gaslight on Jan 13 https://gaslightmusichall.csstix.com/event-details.php?e=480&fbclid ...

Another noteworthy point is that there will be a VST M released next year and will be free for owners of a physical M. Wondering if the sound will be 1:1 between the two. From what I gather, this is what a lot of folks wished Korg would have done with the Kronos. 100% this. I mean, they released a ...

Kronos as a VST....why Korg hasn't done this yet is mind boggling. It would sell like hotcakes. Just give us the engines please....would make fly dates so much better.

For me, the most incredible "update" to the Kronos would be a comprehensive VST (similar to the Triton package) so that for travel gigs, I could essentially mirror my KX88 and use a controller and my Mac, leaving my Kronos home, safe and sound. I gig with it almost 100x per year.

Porting sounds from one K to another

Hi everyone. First off, let me state that I LOVE my Kronos X88 and it is my main board. I play in a few bands where I use complex patches/combis with many splits in some cases, using both stock and purchased material. It suits me very well in this regard and the quality of the sounds is nothing ...

Re: Faithfully

Here's a cellphone video of my band performing Faithfully by Journey this past Sunday. That's how pro's do it! Great performance. Great audience. Perfect piano performance. Spot-on Steve Perry vocals. And the hair - long hair is a must to complement the vocals :) Seems like your band would be well ...

Kronos-MAC-Mainstage-Auto Sampling help needed

Hi everyone. I usually use my Kronos X88 locally when the gigs are close enough for me to travel by car but we've got a few fly dates coming up in the next few months that require me to spec a Kronos at the venues in our rider. I have heard of the Auto Sampling feature in Mainstage which is supposed ...

I tried this config over the weekend. It seems to work for now. Keeping my Nanopad on the K just above the knobs on the left hand side. Put my phone on the stand so I can control my iem mix....plus the kicker...drink holder. https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=10223745667927685&set=gm.355467778846881

I have the boom mic adapters also, and finally found a boom arm I was able to adapt to allow me to adjust the angle and height just right (I use a dock and iPad holder mounted to the mic arm). I'm trying to accomplish something similar but haven't found the right combination of hardware yet. My ...

Hey there, Live I'm always in Setlist Mode as well. I have an 88 key If a song is too complex for a simple split to handle, I just create different combis for various sections of the song and then arrange them in the setlist so I can simply advance through them with a foot pedal. I have some songs ...

Recreating the guitar synth from Turbo Lover by Judas Priest

This one should be fun. I was asked by a friend to track the synth guitar parts for Turbo Lover by Judas Priest for them to use in their band. Has anyone tried to recreate the intro and choppy synth guitar parts for this song on the Kronos? I believe it was originally done on a Roland GR-700. Of ...
