Best Way To Transpose A Song Key

i want to transpose a song in the sequencer, up a 1/2 step from A flat, to A. i've read through the manuals and tried to find something in the song menu, to no avail. any suggestions? thanks in advance.

i admit, i'm really confused. when loading regular SMFs into the mS, and then initializing GM, i find that it sounds very screwed up. most of the SMF files have drums on MIDI channel 10 and bass on MIDI channel 2 (which is what my DR-880 does). do these channels correspond to the MIDI tracks in the ...

Ok this is mostly solved thanks to some good info from this forum. Here's what worked: Global mode > media > load > Load the smf SEQ mode > Command > initialize GM > OK Return to Global mode without doing anything Return to SEQ mode and the song plays fine (most of the time) Name the song (if ...

I don't believe so. And unfortunately, I don't recall where I originally found out about them--somewhere on one of the Korg forums? I contacted Jack via his e-mail and he provided me with the PayPal details. I feel the Banks are well worth it! how much did he charge? i saw his video on Youtube.
