I also have that issue. Did anyone tried to go trough an audio interface instead of going trough out the Mac? Apple said that with the latest update of Sierra they fixed that issue but when i did updated it the problem was still there.

My KX61 failed to boot. Stopped in the same place others have indicated. Did all the suggested resets. 3 weeks later, the guys are the nearest authorized repair center said the motherboard crapped out. I don't abuse this board and have no idea what could have caused this. Yep! I was one of the first to buy it in 2011. I bougth then a K88. It had a keybed issue but had been repared by Korg staff. On october 31st 2014 , i bought a K73X. I had to get rid of the 88 for money issue few moths before. The new one had a power supply issue but is still in very good shape by ...

If you are looking for a faster ssd on your machine, it won't. It's limitee by the cpu unit. That's what i've been told by Korg staff.
