More wondering how the sound of the samples compare.

Probably a dumb question, but how do the drum samples in KMS compare to samples one might get in a drum software package such as EZ Drummer, Slate Drums, BFD, Superior, Addictive, etc.? Suitable for recording?

Even better news! I can eliminate the USB as I rarely tweak sounds.

What is dB out of the mS line outs? Do they need pre-amp to be recorded?

Does anyone send the line level audio out of the mS and record/track into their DAW and then mix with other DAW tracks (guitar/VOX)? REAPER has a free trial version and is still very affordable for a licensed version. I think like $60.

That's what I do. Great product for what it does. In hindsight, should have spent more to get keyboard that sends sounds right to DAW via USB.
