Drum Sound Question
Probably a dumb question, but how do the drum samples in KMS compare to samples one might get in a drum software package such as EZ Drummer, Slate Drums, BFD, Superior, Addictive, etc.? Suitable for recording?

Yesterday, I recorded my A/D box (M-Audio Firewire 410) pre-amps and line inputs raw outputs while slowly adding gain. Interesting for me, probably obvious to more experienced, the pre-amp was virtually silent until about 65% of gain was added. More interesting, line analog line inputs were just ...

mS Line Out Output levels
Thank you. So the following isn't working with my DAW because the mS isn't outputting enough dB, correct? 1. OUT: 1/4" unbalanced cables out of mS to a control unit that has (2-3 below) 2. IN: Stereo 1/4" balanced inputs for connecting an +4dBu level stereo sources routed thru 3. OUT: Stereo 1/4 ...

Recording into DAW via mS line level outputs
Does anyone send the line level audio out of the mS and record/track into their DAW and then mix with other DAW tracks (guitar/VOX)? What kind of success have you had in having the mS sounds "fit in the mix?" I'm thinking, for example, is it best to minimize or eliminate effects from the mS (reverb ...

My opinion on mS after owning 1 year
Not that it is worth anything as I am a guitar player and this is my first keyboard, I wanted to give my opinion on the mS one year after owning it and see other's reaction. Bottom line: Great value for the money. So much functionality and great sounds built into a small and affordable device. As a ...

Any guitar players out there?
Hi. Beginner to intermediate guitar player and home recording hobbyist here. I bought the KmS because I was tired of loading and learning different VSTi instruments in my DAW when I just wanted to play with/add virual instrument sounds. Basically, I love that I can now just turn the KmS on and get ...

New microStation owner myself and I was wondering the same thing. I guess if you are in your DAW producing music or audio and need/want to tweak a microStation program (sound), by having the plug-in, I think the custom tweak settings are saved with the file/track so 10 years later you can recall ...
