Oh, I had thought of that too. That's why I'm still laughing at myself.

It would A. Take a giant effort by the programmers B. Mean the death to the hardware versions Not going to happen. Unless they only make it available to registered Korg/Oasys users and tie it to the board like they do other sound libraries. ;) Seriously though, when you look at the price they ...

Discussed many times. As much as I would like something like this, it has little to no chance of happening. Some of us have the KLC and it has some elements like the Poly-Six and MS-20. But for the price of a Nano or Micro you could get the set cheaply or even free. And it is a good compliment to ...

 The simple way is the first way. Kronos to MOTU to DAW; PadKontrol to Kronos USB-A; Veriton to Kronos USB-B I'm laughing because I haven't stop thinking and I found myself researching printer switches... Since the USB-B connection basically turns Kronos into a slave first with handshaking as ...

Good thoughts folks! I also have the MOTU express XT. And was hoping more to do the editors via USB because of the transfer speed difference. I also feel like I would do little editing of the PK as mentioned, but threw it in as a logical grouping with the other two. I mainly want the separate ...

In the case of the A to A bridge interface/'cable', the cable itself is the 'device' and both computers are hosts. As this is not a typical setup as previously mentioned, special software and/or drivers would be required on both ends. Thanks for the reply! My thinking was the Veriton would simply ...

Actually, the figures you can find on Apple include their non-Mac market too, which without it slants the figures to more equal with PC. Since figures can be slanted by whoever is doing the tally, I tend to think of them equally, except when someone goes into apple-dogma. And I try to never confuse ...

Amongst musicians, especially serious ones, I believe the ratio may be closer to 80/20 in favor of Mac Food for thought, The vast majority of people coming here to KORG FORUMS are on a Windows Machine. I just check the server awstats and 72.2% of all users who visit this site are on Windows, 18.9 ...

Two computers and a PadKontrol on one Kronos?

A while back, someone gave me an Veriton mini computer. It's a single core atom processor with 2gb RAM (upgradeable to 3gb) running 32 bit Win7 home-premium. So I've been kicking this idea around how to utilize it in my system. The idea is to use it as a dedicated editor for the Kronos and Karma ...

Real guitarists collect guitars like we do samples. So even they aren't happy with one all the time. Whoever commented on the need for improved effects though gets my backing harmony on that.

With the right effects, any acoustic is a great electric too.

Better browsing in the V-analogs (P6,MS20, MP) is something I would hope for in the next updates. And a more stable Legacy Cell.

Wishful thinking won't get you far. :D Korg will keep focusing on producing hardware because hardware cannot be pirated. Neither will a lack of imagination. Korg has also told me a few times they have no intention of making rack versions again. I think it has less to do with pirating and ...

You still haven't offered your desires of what KLC2 would include.
Doesn't really matter, because KLC 2 won't happen.
Well, definitely not with that attitude.

But it won't happen, I'm almost positively sure about it. Radias is too new to be "legacy", N1 doesn't bring much new stuff from M1 except new PCM data (and resonant filter, which M1 legacy already has), and Z1 code is lost and undocumented and the person who wrote it died. Also, Radias is ...

MS2000/MicroKorg has nothing to do with the Radias. Besides sharing the same market. They are not related. Radias is pretty cool too though. It's one of my favourite synths. Personally though, I find it doesn't have any particularly unique characteristics. It's just it's feature-richness that makes ...
