The manual, which I'm reading today, says that there are additional User Banks numbered AA, BB, CC, DD, and these are initialized for different EXis. You can select these by holding down the UA and PA buttons, for example, to select User AA.
There are initialized presets for each engine, I think.

Initializing HDs and EXs in Program Mode?
Is this possible? The manual says that it can be done generally, but gives no instructions on how to do it. Is there any way to completely initialize a program?

I wish I had the time these days, especially with the holidays approaching, so I'm all for letting someone else do the fancy programming. I have extremely limited knowledge on the subject and would much prefer taking the time to learn actual songs as opposed to programming to get that sound just so ...

First Day with Kronos - First Sound Created (Van Halen)
I'm still getting to know this beast, and this sample needs work, but I'm thrilled the Kronos has the capability to edit syncs (of fake syncs like this, made with effects)!
Looking forward to making my bank of 128 80s sounds.

Welcome, In a Korg you only can use 2 oscillators per program (which can be of either different/same EXis OR HD1), however, in combi mode you can combine 16 of these oscillators together (also with their own panning etc). Hmm. Some sounds I make have 4 saw wave panned and detuned. I guess I have to ...

Programming questions
Hey, all. Kronos newbie here. I'm just beginning to understand the architecture and have a question about oscillators in the HD1. For some sounds, I layer multiple elements (as Yamaha calls them) together and pan a few left, detuned and perhaps offset start/delay start. Is this possible in HD1 ...

Kronos Third-Party Sound Request List
Hello, all. My name is Rick, and I am the programmer for playkeyz.com. Until this week, I have programmed only on Yamaha synths. I am continuing to do that, but in the wake of the Kronos (a really big wake, by the way), I now am branching out into Korgs. I am going to re-create the 80s soundsets for ...

I'm Playkeyz, Programmer of 80s PR Soundsets
Hey, all! A kind forum member told me there was a discussion going on here. I'm the guy that programmed the two 80s Pop/Rock Soundsets on the Yamaha Motif/S90s. I'm utterly ashamed that I have never heard of the Kronos until very recently; nothing against Korg, I just turned my head from music for ...
