Late reply but yes, those work with a standard floppy disk drive. I have a similar board in my X3R and it works fine. The caveat (at least with mine) is that the drive activity light is always on.

I'd be checking to see if you have any bulging capacitors or any signs of electrolytics leaking from your caps. A visual inspection is often enough and the repair process of replacing caps is pretty in-expensive and straight-forward if you are capable of soldering. For a tech it would be a walk in ...

In my SE, this setting is in the Utility area. I'm not in front of my Wavestate at the moment but it's the second or third page across and has something like:

Aftertouch: channel+poly

This sounds like a problem that shouldn't be allowed to happen. I hope KORG addresses this problem in a firmware update. It is not a small issue to render an instrument inoperable!

If you're allowed to disclose the recovery procedure this would be very helpful until the problem is addressed.

Not much help to you unfortunately but I got my SE-P around month ago and noticed it has the 3.0.9 firmware. The SE uses a RPi Compute Module 4 which I would have thought the MKii was also running. Previous versions ran a Compute Module 3. I would be surprised if there wasn't a hard reset available ...

I thought I would resurrect this thread as the information I offer may be useful to others. Last week I was surprised to find my M3 rebooting over and over as last time I had looked at it, it was left running in my studio. Some quick searching lead me to this thread and other threads that pointed to ...

Yes! I've done one 01W/FD and four 01W/Rs using those displays.

Take a look at this link for the resistors you'll need, same principle as the Wavestation AD replacement:

I don't know but I would assume a local piano technician or tuner would as they have to have felt for piano hammers, dust traps around the keybed and for damper pedal mechanisms etc. I think your best bet would be to look some up some local techs in the phonebook or online and see if they can sell ...

Hi, have you had this display apart by unbending the tabs on the back of the display that keep it sandwiched together? These lines are typical of a display where the metal frame around the glass has been undone or come loose and the LCD contacts have come out of alignment with the display board. If ...

Hmm, yeah, I can't help with that one sorry. They're kind of translucent as well which is a bummer because you could possibly have got some 3D printed. One of the things I have done in the past is to message eBay sellers privately to see if they have these items but haven't listed them. If someone ...

Hello. The power board is KLM-2700. Have you conducted a visual inspection of this board? I'm not sure it's of use to you as you've already had your power supply bench tested but you could take a look at this thread: https://www.karma-lab.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19621 Check that glass fuse!! Hmmm, without a bench diagnosis it's hard to say. I would be suspicious of a dryed out/leaking capacitor or dry joint in the amplifier/audio out circuitry. Perhaps similar to what has happened to many a 01W or 01R/W in the past. It may be worth removing the base and taking a good look at the ...

Hi. Cool idea, haven't done it myself but have you looked at the SYSEX implementation for the M3?

I'd be surprised if there isn't a way to do what you want using SYSEX requests. If that's possible then that opens you up to several controller options.

The underlying switch for these are 9.5mm stem micro switches.
