Updated to v2.0 and the BCF now triggers bank a-d record and playback. Still have a problem with the expression pedals controlling the pad XY. Do I need to send a touch pad command before they can make an effect change?

I have the same problem that started this thread: pads on the fcb1010 with the correct note message control playback of sample buttons 1-4 but will not start recording. I didn't understand from the post what was the fix eventually.

Does anyone know if it's possible to control sample in/out with a footswitch on KP3? I play wind instruments and don't have my hands free to press the bank button to sample a loop...
so a footswitch (MIDI or other) would help me. Any suggestions?

I'm using the kp3 onstage without DAW. thought I'd start with sampling the band's percussionist or another instrument but for that I'll need some sort of beat for him to be in sync. Is there a metronome in kp3?
Sorry if this is a silly question, but I'm new to kaoss, and could not find a "search forum" function here....
I'm trying out the sampler part of kp3 and need it to generate some kind of metronome to start layering over.
