i previously had a few Motif types ( ES6, XS8, S90ES, XS90ES ) and i do agree 100% regarding trumpets and nylon gtrs ... and i do/did play both of those ... i liked the Jazz Trumpet sound from my M3 on the PCM expansion samples ... ! i'm wworking steadily on improved trumpet and nylon guitar patches ...

i had a pair of QSC K10 and a pair of K8 ... the K10 can be set on it's side like a wedge ... they really sound great ... but are kinda pricey ... and at a 1,000 each it might be over kill ... most powered speakers could do the trick if you have an EQ to get the sound you want ..!! remember to check ...

the third prong on the A/C plug is the Earth ground ... the extra safety grounding point so a bad short will get sent to the Ground outside , instead of thru You .. ! we still have many many electric gadgets that use only 2 prongs .. ! as many have said ... try 1 cable at a time ... !! gotta plug ...

i've had my Kronos 88 since they came out ... the first 88 in Tampa and yes i have made many adjustments to several Velocity adjustments ... as there are many places to adjust that from, besides the Global mode and the main page of the piano ... and yes i am a classical trained pianist ... and yes ...

i'm having a problem with my nanopad / Kronos ... it is recognized at start up of Kontroller computer software editor .. i change the notes for the pads , write the Scene to the Nanopad ... or at least it says it's writing the Scene into the nano memory ... then i unplug it , and plug it into my ...

playing the Kronos or any keyboard via a quality midi controller should Not loose any note/sound info .. ! midi has never worked that way .. you would need to 'set-up' the controller to respond as closely as possible to the Kronos keyboard ... velocity curve , etc ... if i where to play the same ...

i sold my XS and M3 , now have Kronos 88 ... most raw samples are just that ... if you can program them to your liking they'll work just fine ... if you think you can make better samples .. go ahead ... the pianos , strings , guitars , etc, etc ... will always sound different from one manufacture to ...
