M3 CD-ROM reader
Can anyone recommend a USB CD-ROM that I can use with my M3 and will read Akai/EMU CD's? I've tried my laptop external CD reader but the M3 doesn't recognize any of my sample discs in the aforementioned format. Many thanks in advance

256 MB memory boards
Guys, I was under the impression (forgive my ignorance please) that the original 'KORG 256MB' board had a ROM chip which contained the extra sounds etc. I have since learned that even the original KORG 256MB board is just a 'Memory board and that the extra sounds are dowloaded from the official KORG ...

256 MB memory boards
Hi, can someone help me out please? I recently acquired an M3 88 Expanded with version 2.04 software. I ordered a 256MB board which was advertised quite unfairly I thought as an original KORG memory board thinking I would get the extra Brass and Woodwind sounds. However the board was a standard ...

New to the M3
Hi Guys I have just bought a second hand M3 as I can't afford a Kronos. I have upgraded from a Triton Classic. I was happy with my TC but the ZIP disks I kept my song data on have started to corrupt and the connectivity was only by SCSI or floppy. I have lost a lot of song data which is frustrating ...

Hey, MegaMarkD thanks for responding I really appreciate it. Sales are going good but in essence I didn't release it for that, although it would be nice to sell out of the pressings I have had done. I am so glad you like it and would like to say thank you for your comments. Do you release your own ...

Arthurian Cinematic soundtrack album
Well, I finally got that elusive record deal and have released my first solo album 'Avalonia, (The Sonnets of Guinevere)'. Its an Arthurian Cinematic soundtrack album based of the last days of King Arthurs reign. The back-bone of this album was written and performed on the now antique 01w/fd which I ...

Triton Classic, an amazing piece of kit
I joined Korg Forums in August 2002 so I have seen some changes in the technology that goes with music. I have written most of my stuff on the o1w/fd and Triton classic (TC). The point I'm trying to make is that I have always chased the technological advances within music technology thinking that ...
