wah-clavinette

In the e.piano category you have more than 20 clavinettes, some of them with amp-simulator, autowah or phazer effects. I think with a few mouseclicks you can edit a factory sound in the PS60 to sound like the one in the videoclip.

copyingh to another category

In the editor you have to be in "prog edit" page, then click on "utility" and "write program" - you will se the options, choose a category, rename it if you want, and so on. BTW: I have an edited piano on my homepage. Has anyone tried to write it to "any" category in the PS60? Djordje www.gpmusic.de ...

brass sounds

You can copy a brass sound to an other cathegory and layer up to 6 brass instruments in the same time. It is also interesting to layer brass sounds with synth sounds.

midi is universal

Propellerhead's Reason 5 supports midi, so it will work with the PS60 when it´s connected with midi cable. You have to install the usb driver if you connect it to the computer only via usb.

organ sounds of the PS60

I think the PS60 has a couple of very good organ sounds plus the roto effect and an extra button for "organ slow/fast". Organ sounds are based on simple waveforms. There are plenty of them stored into the ROM, so if you are an advanced tweaker, you can create hundreds of good organ sounds in the ...

audio out

You have to connect the audio output (left and right) of the PS60 with the audio input of your computer with a stereo cable. Maybe you have to install Asio4all to get rid of the lag between audio in and out of your computer. You can also use the phones-output of the PS60, but it may be too hot in ...

audition riffs

It looks like there are a few drum-sequences in the ROM, but no drum samples at all. You can assign any audition riff to any user sound, before you store a patch (called program) to the user memory. Important: your own programs or factory programy can be saved to any category. Be careful, do not ...

midi via usb

Try following: when your DAW is started, loaded some software-synth and the usb cable is connected - switch the PS60 off and on. Now both local sounds and midi should be aviable. If you dont want to hear the PS60, turn its volume knob down. If there is still no midi out, do a factory reset. Install ...

midi via usb

The usb lead will work as midi in and out connection. In the DAW it will be recognized as i/o midi-port. Therefore you dont need those 2 standard midi cables if you work with a computer-based virtual studio. Of course you can can do it the old-fashioned way too. Cheers, GP

PS 60

Of course you can use it with Cubase or Sibelius. You can connect it via standard midi cable or via usb, which will be recognized as a midi port. 20 combinations of 6 channels plus EQ and effects can be stored into the synth as "performances". These performances can be recalled immediately. If you ...

ps60 - you get what you pay for

I have been looking a year ago for a new keyboard, and the PS60 was the winner. Why? Because you will not find anything in this price-range with so much good features and good sounds. The next candidate was twice as much! I didn´t regret buying it. I see only a problem if you are used to weighted ...

software for midi

The best software for midi is surely not the one you described. If you search on the internet, you´ll see something else, which is able to read and write standard midi files. Some of them are completely free, including notation etc. I use an earlier version of Finale Notepad http://www.finalemusic. ...

midi sequencing

Why do you want to (re)record your songs/sequences? You can use the PS60 as sound module and/or master keyboard. That´s the way I use it. All my songs and scores are stored in computers which are connected to the PS60 via usb and midi. Editing sequences is much more convenient with a large display ...
