Any Korg representative care to jump in and confirm the "New production batch - No Hiss" theory by providing the serial number range of the new (hopefully less/not noisy at all) Zero8 mixers please? I am also eager to know more on the long time ago announced/promised (yet to be released) HW fix ...

same issue over here (hiss+meter), we're waiting for the official statement.
it make no sense to exchange for yet another unit which reporduce the same issues.

yes indeed, we called them more over sent a detailed problem description.
as far as i know, our complaing was forwarded to r&d japan, however we did not received any feedback yet.

I'm happy they are acknowledging there are issues. i would highly appreciate, if r&d japan could acknowledge the issue on this board aswell along in-depth information, like is it a sw or hw issue and about an estimated re-solution. btw. did anyone (from .jp) already has been tested the firmware v1 ...

i doubt this "issue" passed thru the betatest phase...
otherwise i would fire the whole zero betatest team immediately!

i guess it would be useful to check the firmware revisions aswell.

perhaps a good idea to compare/match the s/n's...
there might be a pattern amongst them which could help to nail down the issue to a certain production batch.

3. VU meters dont do anything hello early zero8 adopters, we've sold a unit to a local customer and we're suffering the same issue. the vu meters seems getting the initial spike during power on/off, the backlight is on all the time, however the vu meter seems to be dead, it does not act as it ...
