I've just successfully tested the M-Audio Axiom 61 (1st Gen) with the camera connection kit and iMS-20. I've found the easiest way to blank out a part of a synth loop is to open the kaos pads, hit record and record a silent note (by pressing the bottom of the right kaos pad) over the mistake.
