Kross for 80's digital/vector-y kinds of sounds

Hello!

I'm wondering if the Kross's soundset would be well suited to doing 80's digital/Vector/Romper kinds of sounds. I know it can't do wavesequencing, but I'm going for a very 80's Rompler sound. How much of the M1's wave-rom does it have? If it has all of the M1's waves then that would be nice!

Yeah, if you buy two then TAH DAH! Now you've still only got half a bar of music, but now you can add more synth and MORE of the same drums. haha!

The price seems to be about $200. That's a little pricey if you want to buy two though.

Did you just hear what I said? Or did it go in one ear and out the other? I'm fine with no MIDI I'm sorry you took this personal - that was just my general comment addressed to those who asked about midi Oh. My apologies. I actually wasn't trying to sound mean either. Those videos are awesome! I ...

No MIDI? If you need midi you buy DSI Tetra! Obviously monotribe doesn't have midi because it has more physical controls than tetra and audio/voltage(?) input for sync so perhaps Korg just decided to reduce price omitting midi. Did you just hear what I said? Or did it go in one ear and out the ...

I've got a very plain question for Rich F. I don't care if he's not allowed to talk about it yet, I just want him to read the following and reply when he can. I'd be very interested to hear a sensable explanation: Dear Rich F, The Monotribe has a lot of cool features. Korg got a LOT of things right ...

i read it has three discrete drum sounds with all analog circuitry. could someone pleases explain this to me? i mean the 'discrete' part. i searched but the info was over my head. what does it mean in terms of playability? A discreet circuit is a very tight circuit to save room. It has nothing to ...

I don't know why everyone's NOT abuzz about this! HELLO! This is what you people have been whining and begging for! This hasn't gotten nearly as much attention as I thought it would. I've seen people get more excited over crappy Behringer products. This is potentially Korg giving us a freaking ...

MP3s of the individual engines?

Is Korg planning on, (or are there already) MP3s of the individual synth engines in the Oasys/Kronos? I'd like to heard demos of the AL-1 and MOD-7 specifically, because I could just find Legacy Collection demos to hear the Polysix and MS20.

MOD-7 has 7 oscs (including PCM oscillator).
I know that. But MOD-7 isn't a VA.

AL-1 absolutely does have a sub oscillator... And remember that in a single Program, you can have two EXi engines at the same time, which doubles your oscillator count. Then, you get into Combis, and it multiplies again. -Rich I'm not familiar with the AL-1 engine very much, but are you able to set ...
