I never got to the bottom of why my PX4D kept losing sound output. I took it back to the shop for repair, but they eventually gave me a new one which works fine. My old one will be the shop demo unit - hopefully customers only want to try it out for a minute or two!

I ended up going back to the shop and swapping the PX4D for another. The replacement works with no problems. :)

I've got the same problem and I also tried that reload procedure without success. The first time the PX4D is turned on from cold, it will run for the longest. But after a minute or two when the fault sets in, I'll eventually reach a point where there is only a second or two of sound each time I ...

1. Sometimes the sound just cuts out. I have to change patch to get the sound back. This may be happening on specific patches (e.g.G SYNTH).
