Yes, I think it is based on a factory preset, some "normal"synthesizer sound. I hope I still have the settings on the MK and if so, will make a .prg file of it to show you the settings. I think it's no problem to make the bloobs go faster. I'll let you know if I succeed in saving the bubbles :)

I realise this is an old thread, but I stumbled upon it searching for tips on how to make a bubbling sound on the MK. Go here: http://www.techno-id.com/microkorg/microkorg.htm Scroll down on that page, right click the "Go !" 's after "Sons/Sounds" and choose "Save as.." You could try to open the MicroKorg and gently pressing the chips etc. Maybe it's just some bad contact, that may have heavy effects... Do this in the kitchen or the like to prevent static damage. There's also a youtube movie on how to open the MK, NOT how to put it back together again though ...
