need advice, guys/gals
Hey, I am seriously looking to keep my Triton and, since I still want better guitar sounds, am looking at getting the Yamaha Motif, but the RACK version to save $$$. I do not own any rackmount synths. I do not use a computer to record, only the Triton sequencer. So, What are the pros/cons of getting ...

200,000 note sequencers
Looking at adding another synth to go alongside my Triton, seems like Yamaha has a nice Motif series but the internal sequencer only has 130,000 notes. Now, I have no talent in the math department to convert bytes to notes, my biggest song on the Triton is 157K, that's in bytes, but how do I know ...

reply about digital 8 track
Hey - I saw your question about me using the digital 8-track.....well, I really like what it can do....the manuals are too big, like every synth/recording product, but once you get the highlights of the processes you need, it's easier to maneuver around the manual......I typed a one-page sheet of ...

serious songwriter looking for serious collaborator
I want to find someone to write with. It would be ideal to find someone in my city, preferably in my state, but I realize this is next to impossible (BTW I am in Wilmington, NC) I write lyrics and compose solely on my Korg Triton sequencer and digital 8-track. No computer. My songs are combinations ...

I should trade my Triton synth for a ???????
Maybe I am just getting old.... I need to find a synth (with a decent sequencer) that gives me the sounds I want as they originally come. I don't want to spend 1-2 hours fiddling with effects - they should transfer into the sequencer as-is. I don't like having to go back and putting all the ...

guitar patches on Triton
Editing still does not come close to the way Roland and Yamaha get their electric guitars to sound.....now patches come sounding realistic without having to do so much "work".....

Need updated sounds
I need better guitar sounds for my Triton. Getting a Roland Fantom XR or Yamaha Motif rack to go with it is going to cost WAAAAY too much....is there a less expensive route to take? What about Triton upgrades? Any other good sounding racks to check out?

Convince me not to sell this thing
I have the 61-key Triton, basic, had it since 2001. I think I have done all I can do with it and thinking about moving on. I write my own songs on it, strictly sequencer, no live musicians or computer software. Here's the thing - I NEED GUITAR SOUNDS! My Music Maker 15 software Christmas present has ...
