has anyone converted any XL sounds to microkorg...if you know what i mean

ive seen a few ppl here say they have done some, but i havent seen the results posted for download...anyone?

mines the same, but its knob3...i was going to take it apart to have a look, but havent got torund to it yet (i did ask about soing this a few weeks back...)

everything works fine via MIDI tho, so maybe try the software editor

MK has a patch called Tape Choir (A.58) you could try tweaking that, or make something similar using the DW voice waveforms, im sure its possible to get quite close.

which sound are you looking for, there a quite a few in that track...maybe link to a youtube vid and say what time that sound comes in?

according to midi-ox (and values on lcd screen) pot 3/EG ATTACK is not sending midi data, so not working safe to take top off and have a look? im not a tech head, might just be dusty or something, so is it safe to have a look? everything else is working fine, ive given it a really good work thru ...

If you're going to record MicroKorg, then you want at least two inputs for stereo recording. And i'm assuming you don't need or want to connect all of these at the same time? you need to disable write protect and press shift-4 and set to E-E (turn knob4)
works here anyway, might help?

as i understand, the MK has 64 DWGS waveforms, the DW8000 had 16 waveforms...does the MK have variations of those 16?

which are the original ones?
