Thank you for your answers, it's getting clearer in my head! so what is the use of having a SDcard slot? just to store new program files (that will use the samples & synth resources already present in the workstation) ? so even if we convert our own WAV into AIFF, or if we get a CD-Rom with aiff ...

From what I've read, with the M50 we can't simply introduce wav samples, but it has to be in the form of pcg programs. I found out a software, called " Awave Studio " that claims being able to convert WAV to PCG. But I haven't used it yet. It would be great to hear from people familiar with it!...
