The posts about notes cutting out is only abut changing the effect algorithm, not vary the values of the parameters. It's disappointing that the notes get cut dead on what is supposed to be a 'hands-on' performance keyboard though. I had expected to be able to tweak away freely without the sound ...

The best way to deal with this is to use the Editor, turn down the initial gain a little and bring up the amp attenuation a bit. Then use the NR (Noise Reduction which is a noise gate) to dial out more of the amp noise. I've tried the editor and I've found that the controls under the (pre-tube ...

Hi Andy: Are you Masterjam over at the Keyboard Corner? I answered this over there: No - not me. I'll give your suggestions a try though tonight and report back. Thanks. In any event, I bet you won't hear it when gigging. Seems pretty slight. Would drive me nuts if playing with headphones, tho ...

Disappointed with SV-1

I got an SV-1 a couple of days ago and there are a couple of things I'm rather surprised and disappointed by. On the Rhodes preset, when the 'amp' is on, there is a lot of hiss when a key is pressed. Switch the amp section off and the hiss is gone, although the instrument then loses most of its ...

Hi from Seattle

Hi,

Long time Korg user here posting from Seattle. My first ever keyboard was a Poly 800 back in 1984, followed by a DW6000, O1/Wfd, Karma, and currently an M3 and an SV-1.

My wife has been steadfastly ignoring my hints about an Oasys for years!

Andy
