I am hoping to use the SV-1 as an occassional lower manual with my Hammond XK-3c. Ideally I would use the SV-1 with all its great sounds (with no midi out signal transmitted), and when I need a lower manual I would push a button and the SV-1 tone generator shuts off (local off) and the midi out then ...

I am assuming that due to trademark issues, the actual amps modeled in the SV-1 cannot be "named" (except for Vox - which Korg owns). Adan - do you hear that "ffftt" sound I mentioned in my post? Go to E.Piano1 and switch the variation button from 3 to 2 to 1 and back and forth a few times. Seems to be associated with the amp modeling.

Adan: check out my post titled "SV-1 New Owners". I posted my concern with the same panel lock issue and received a reply from the product manager. Nothing concrete yet - just that something is coming.
