Another problem i have (for reason users) is that when I play drum patterns on channel 10 they do play the notes in Redrum once i have assigned it in the midi routing device at the top ...

Yornav, you made me lough with your final remark, your english is excellent as its your explanation,THANX!! Orbit,i am curios, why do you think ableton is geared more towards soft synths? From what I hear Ableton has latency issues when working with external gear. It's designed to be more of an "in ...

Basically, you need to get the midi form the tribe into your DAW (Ableton) IF the tribe can save midi files (I've never tried), do that and then load them into your DAW. If not then set up the tribe to send and record the midi into your DAW. I'm not an Ableton user but I have a similar workflow only ...

I think using the maximizer over the main mix is fine. That is kind of what they are designed for. The compressor would be great over the drums, or over just the EMX, however only if you really want that sound, if you're a fan of compression. I think another possibility would be to use it to route ...

So it did work at one time? Where'd you get the kit? I have an external drive that I'd love to mount internally but not sure how to do the SCSI connection since the card's port faces outward. If it was working before and now isn't, I'm stumped...if it never worked I'd recheck all the connections and ...

I just mean i hear a lot of americans saying rave interchangeably with dance events or clubbing, or whatever. But i dont hear that word used much here unless its being used to refer to the old school days. Yeah I come across that sometimes too, and generally someone calling a party or anything a ...

The word Rave still seems to be used a lot in the states, in the UK we dont really use it ever. it brings up to many images of 80's clubbers chewing there heads off flinging themselves around with glowsticks. The music being little more that an extremely loud kick drum 4 to the floor beat. I'm from ...

We have 2/3rd of the same setup it seems. I use a yamaha RM1x to sequence my EMX and an M-audio 49 key controller to play it but most modulation and control changes I do on the EMX myself, unsequenced. You've got a really powerful combo there as far as sound creation. I'd sequence it with a computer ...
