I didn't hear you say you wanted smooth transitions, just move from either a combi or a program to the next quickly. I load each one with auto song setup as a new song in the sequencer without any notes. The settings, patches, effects are all copied. Name each entry something like "second set lead ...

I think Stephen goes where there's the best potential market. Right now, it's Yamaha and he's invested a crudload of time learning and programming on the Yamaha architecture. And, as he suggests, the company that lends the most "support" also gets his attention. If Krome sells well, I predict he'll ...

No matter how you cut it, you can't play a decent piano on a synth bed, and you sure can't play good B3 technique on weighted keys. I think the keys on my TEX88 are superb, and remember one reviewer calling them "oily" which actually is a good fit. I remember posting on S. Kay's site about my never ...

There are changes that could happen in an O.S. upgrade. Seems like some of these could be done. But how can you talk about improvements to the m50 and not put a velocity sensitive keyboard at the top of the list? What board doesn't have this? Why even put piano patches on it if your notes are all ...

Saving your combis as sequences avoids the pitfalls of having to overwrite combis and lets you use the foot pedal to advance to the next sequence. If you use one combi more than once, say your favorite piano, you can place it as many times as you want in the proper order. If you're worried about ...

Why not copy each custom combi as a new song in the sequencer. Hold [Enter] while pressing [Rec/Write]. Ready to record? [OK]. Press [Rec/Write] again. Done. You bring all the fx with it. You can name each sequence with a name that relates to what you have. You can go to the next one with one touch ...

I had a chance to check out the m50 -61 yesterday. Only for about 20 minutes until the place filled with bozos all playing chopsticks at max volume. Initial impressions.... Keybed is what I expected...not fantastic but not bad either. Quick return time. Kinda noisy (compared to the Motif beside it ...

Thanks luischardon and Jerry for the clarification. Less than a foot deep...I like that size. Luis...buying the M50 means I can keep my faithful Extreme. It's something I can afford, I can second tier it--11 1/2 inches means I can keep the keys close by. Was considering the MO6, but now Korg has 'em ...
