You can sample up to 16 steps (measure) and i believe is 9 seconds per sample.

And yes, you can insert an SD card to export your samples. Also you can use the usb cable with the kp3 editor.

maybe youre using the part "6" or "7" (a or b). If you sequence those parts next to each other, one mutes the other (a vs b). Maybe thats your problem.

the electribe X's are much better than the original ones. I have a es-1 and i compared it to a ESX and the diference is huge
The only thing i dont like about the ESX is that it doesnt have the same delay that the ES1 has (actually, it sucks) and thats a big deal for my beats.

I dont know if he uses an electribe but Four tet uses a software called Audiomulch for live perfomances. He also uses a sampler called Dr Sample

funny, i ask myself the same question: why every video on youtube with electribe is about crappy techno and trance? You can do much more with the mk1 and mk2, and of course, with the emx and esx. f*ck it. Just bought a trigger finger, which rocks my world. Ill never use a kp3 as a midi controller anyway, it sucks. The only good use for this is fx for vocals. Nothing else.
