Sold one, missed it so much, I bought another. I'm back!

I bought Oasys 88 serial# 000714 at guitar center in Southfield, MI in 2006. I had to sell it due to divorce. So, due to having a new loving and supportive woman, I bought Oasys 88 serial# 000641 from a woman on selling it on Ebay, who originally bought hers at the same Guitar Center just a few ...

I just went through almost the same scenario purchasing a used Oasys. She never played it, never registered. There wasn't a scratch to be found! Best part was it was only 20 miles away, so local pick-up.

I think they were waiting for me to finally break down and actually purchase the MOD-7 synth. (lack of funds) Now, they have the money to work on the next update. :)

If you want streaming sample speed that will blow any HD out of the water, there is nothing preventing the Oasys from being upgraded to one of those new 2.5" Ram drives, however they are still quite expensive right now.

Ohhh!!!!, Ahhhhh! Oh, yeah!! Is it possible?!?

This would be a MAJOR improvment to the Oasys. 1,000 more effective than bothering with CPU & the like.

You guys at Korg have outdone yourselves again! The EX-3 is stunning! Finally brass with spit & character across the entire register! The clarinet is to die for!! Can I say that the oboe still lacks some variation in reediness, for lack of a better term. Everything else ROCKS!! Thank you for the ...

Wrap all your audio cables in tin foil. (alot of it) The AC wires lying next to them will have a more difficult time finding polarity in your audio cables to induce hum.

Re: Great work!

Thanks so much for letting us know about this. I too am very concerned about what will happen to my $10,000 investment in the upcoming years. We have no idea what the future holds, not even the vaguest roadmap from Korg. Certainly the updates so far have been great, but eventually the hardware will ...
