I have found the same failure of the librarian software to find my microKONTROL from the preferences. I got mine off of ebay pretty cheap.

I have both. I've been using the 49 to control the microkorg because the keys are WAY too small. And I use the 49 to control ableton Live.

475 is a good price. The lowest I've seen them go for on ebay is 450. That's the absolute lowest.
